This cute little crew came in from out of town to celebrate the holidays with their extended family, and we were lucky enough to get a (beautiful) afternoon to help commemorate it! We thank them so much for their patience with this sneak peek, as well :-).

Hope your holidays were wonderful and we wish all eight of you a happy and healthy new year.

This family is always the MOST spontaneous and joyful, and this session was no exception. I loved the little pop of red in mom's shirt, which perfectly complemented the greenery in our surroundings; I love ANYTHING involving tossing kids around; and I love the awe kids exhibit when experiencing nature. So good. Thanks for hanging out with me as always, M fam :-).

It was actually, literally freezing during this shoot - in fact it even started snowing in the middle of it! Brrrr. But these friends of ours (mom and I are colleagues from more than 15 years ago) were total troopers and we even managed to have some fun throwing leaves around in the process :-). So great to see you guys!

I'd like to formally offer this little one a newly-created position here at Turtle Street, available every fall: Chief Leaf Officer. Primary responsibilities include gathering leaves, sharing said leaves with others, and throwing them around :-). Seriously, HOW CUTE IS SHE?! So nice to meet you, M family!

My session with this family was literally a walk in the park - which I absolutely loved! Not to mention, the park is only a couple hundred feet from my house (clients, this is the park I'm always trying to get you to do sessions at - haha!). But seriously, hanging out with this family was a super chill way to spend a beautiful fall morning and I had a great time getting to know them :-).
