In case anyone forgot, I love babies. I mean LOVE them. Their smushy cheeks, gummy grins, fluffy hair, precious giggles - they are everything that is right with the world! So of course I adored photographing this little guy at his beautiful home, especially the high-flying smiles :-). So nice to meet you, S family!

This sweet guy turns one in a few weeks, and I was so excited to come out and capture some hand-clapping, Pat the Bunny-reading action to help commemorate beforehand :-). So nice to meet you, Leightner Family! Hope you love the sneak peek.

Better late than never, right? Our 2018 has been off to a crazy start, to put it mildly. At long last, here are our favorite images from 2017. Joy, laughter, emotion, connections, your cute little faces...all of our favorite things are right here :-). Thanks for a WONDERFUL 2017! XOXO

One of the best things about at-home family sessions is the flexibility to take photos inside AND outside. When it's winter especially, being able to frolic in snow and chill in your living room at the same shoot is a huge bonus and makes for really relaxed pictures - always a goal of ours around here! Thanks for a fun session K Family, it was great to see you all again!

My goodness. Chris was the best man in mine and Mark's wedding, and he and his partner Kendra have been through hell this last year. Kendra has a pervasive and horrible form of cancer, and she's fighting for her life right now. It's too much sadness to bear, honestly.

We did this photo shoot so they could have some happy times documented during this period of incredible stress and upheaval - we also started a GoFundMe page to create a savings fund for their boys. Please visit it and donate generously - this family has been through your worst nightmare and they could really use some support and assurance that everything will be okay.

Stay strong, McClearys! XOXO
