I can always rely on the Lommens to bring the most joyful vibes no matter the season, and they did not disappoint this year! It was so much fun documenting some cookie decorating (and they even graciously gave me a batch to take home for my own kids to decorate - so sweet, pun intended ;-)), and we just generally had a blast. Happy Holidays, Lommens!

This little guy shares a birthday with me, and I kept commenting that he is DEFINITELY a November 10th baby: silly, gregarious, and fun-loving ;-). I hope you are having a wonderful 3rd birthday Lewyn, I really enjoyed hanging out with you!

I'd like to formally offer this little one a newly-created position here at Turtle Street, available every fall: Chief Leaf Officer. Primary responsibilities include gathering leaves, sharing said leaves with others, and throwing them around :-). Seriously, HOW CUTE IS SHE?! So nice to meet you, M family!

A Walk In the Park {Pleasant Ridge MI Family Photographer}

My session with this family was literally a walk in the park - which I absolutely loved! Not to mention, the park is only a couple hundred feet from my house (clients, this is the park I'm always trying to get you to do sessions at - haha!). But seriously, hanging out with this family was a super chill way to spend a beautiful fall morning and I had a great time getting to know them :-).

We honestly had the craziest wind during this session! If you've ever had a session with me in high winds you know I call that the "Beyonce Machine" :-). Luckily, this senior was so gorgeous the wind did not matter at all (can you believe her eyes? I have wanted green eyes like that my whole life). We're wishing her the best of luck this year!
